About this file
This document contains a public aircraft operations airworthiness checklist and related federal contract opportunity solicitation. The airworthiness checklist outlines information required to assess initial airworthiness of contractor-owned aircraft in support of the Naval Air Systems Command, including aircraft details, intended use, pedigree documentation, maintenance records, modification history, and ordnance operations requirements if applicable. The related solicitation seeks proposals for fighter jet services through contractor-owned contractor-operated aircraft for fleet training and exercises supporting the Department of the Navy and other DoD and government agencies. The single-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract would have a four-year ordering period from November 2020 to November 2025 and be awarded on a full and open competitive basis as a follow-on to a previous contract. Questions are due by April 2020 and proposals are due May 2020.
