About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for non-tactical vehicle rental supporting the Korea Marine Exercise Program 2026.1 (KMEP 26.1) conducted by III Marine Expeditionary Force units in the Republic of Korea. The contractor shall provide vehicles, roadside assistance, maintenance, and preventative maintenance from February through May 2026 at multiple locations including Camp Mujuk (Pohang), Gwangju Air Base, Rodriguez Live Fire Complex (Pocheon), Busan Airport, and Kunsan Airbase. The requirement totals approximately 58 vehicles consisting of 5-passenger SUVs and 9-passenger vans with staggered deployment dates between February 19 and May 7, 2026. Vehicles will be distributed across multiple Marine units including CLR-37, CLR-35, 9th ESB, 3D Medical Battalion, MAG-12, MAG-24, 3/12, LAR, and V 2/8, with specific points of contact identified for each unit.

The contractor is responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per manufacturer recommendations, providing replacement vehicles if maintenance results in loss of government use, supplying toll passes with funded accounts, ensuring vehicles meet safety and climate control standards, delivering and recovering vehicles at specified locations, and responding to disabled vehicle recovery within 24 hours with replacement vehicles. The government has unlimited mileage and shall not be responsible for naturally occurring damage or normal depreciation, including minor scratches, dents, and wear consistent with equipment-laden troop use in harsh environments. The contractor must coordinate with government points of contact for delivery, maintain service availability during holiday periods, and provide advance notice of any delivery delays. This is a local source-restricted competition limited to contractors already authorized to conduct business in the Republic of Korea per the U.S.-ROK Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA).
