About this file

This is a Key Personnel Document submission requirement for federal grant applications. Applicants must submit a one-page (or less) resume or detailed position description for each key personnel position identified in their proposal. All key personnel documentation must be consolidated into a single document for submission. While proposed key personnel do not need to be finalized at the time of application, they must demonstrate the appropriate level of expertise and qualifications that would be required if the project were funded.

This requirement applies to the Department of State's Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (CFDA 19.224) solicitation titled "Mitigating Proliferation Risks Posed by Artificial Intelligence Enabled Molecular Models and Leveraging Nonproliferation Opportunities." The funding opportunity, offered as a Cooperative Agreement, invites domestic non-profit and non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and for-profit organizations to submit proposals addressing safeguards against misuse risks from chemical and biological artificial intelligence models. Eligible applicants may propose projects addressing all or a targeted subset of the solicitation's key objectives, with total awards not to exceed the available funding under the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
