Keep Off Dune Signage Example

This file is an image example provided by Collier County, Florida for the Pelican Bay Bay Colony Dune Plantings project, illustrating the design and appearance of the "KEEP OFF DUNE" aluminum signage that contractors must install as part of the coastal dune restoration initiative. The image depicts a representative sign that meets Florida Statutes Chapter 161 compliance requirements for dune protection signage. Approximately 46 units of this signage type will be installed across the 4,500 linear feet of restored coastal dune at 25-foot intervals alongside treated wood posts. Questions regarding signage specifications and installation requirements must be submitted by March 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with bid responses due March 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. via the Collier County online procurement portal. The selected contractor will maintain firm pricing through September 30th following bid opening, with contract work commencing immediately upon award to address dune stabilization objectives before the upcoming hurricane season.

Signage supply and installation costs will be submitted on a line-item basis as part of the overall project quote, evaluated competitively against other qualified bidders with lowest responsive pricing receiving award consideration. No set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises or incumbent contractor preferences are designated for this procurement. Pricing must reflect all materials, labor, and installation in compliance with coastal environmental protocols including sea turtle nesting season protections. Payment will be issued in accordance with Florida's Local Government Prompt Payment Act upon receipt of proper invoices submitted within six months of service completion.
