About this file

This is a Bidder's Questionnaire form for Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) solicitation K5761 for pharmacy point-of-service billing system EDI transaction services. The questionnaire requires bidders to provide detailed information about their firm, including legal status, Washington state certifications, prior state working relationships, preferred qualifications, and experience with real-time EDI services between pharmacies and payers. The form requests references from at least three projects performed in the last five years demonstrating experience with similar EDI services.

The transaction volume is estimated at 50,000 every two months, though L&I offers no guarantee of volume. The contractor will receive no direct compensation from L&I for costs, fees, expenses, or charges for connections, equipment maintenance, or leased lines - transaction costs will be paid by the submitting pharmacies. The questionnaire emphasizes the need for system reliability, network size, transaction processing capabilities, disaster recovery provisions, and reporting capabilities. Bidders must also provide details about any terminated contracts, litigation, mediation or arbitration in the past 5-10 years.
