The work center setup is to be 50 feet west behind show center. This will also be the mix area (trailer or tent with platform). A map is provided with the location and dimensions of the mix area, west and south ramps. The public address area to be covered is 2500 ft (crowd line) by approximately 1500 ft deep (to go behind Bldg. 3102), and to include the area East – West in front of the aircraft display area and shall be clearly audible across the entire area over jet aircraft noise on the ground and flying low overhead. In addition, the speakers are needed on the south end of the ramp at the Jet Team Demonstration parked air craft area at BLDG 2121. Speakers are needed on the west side 3102.

Please see map and note the “speaker” icon to locations. Estimated crowd for both days is anticipated to be more than 200,000. Speakers and any cabling shall run along the fence line from the west to the south ramps for maximum crowd coverage. Contractor may use cordless speakers using UHF frequency to avoid wiring going across the pavement where there is heavy pedestrian traffic. Contractor may use portable generators. Contractor is responsible for all aspects of generators. Generators will be fueled by the contractor before 0800 and not during 0801 – 1700 on 28 and 29 June. Set up across the crowd line shall adhere to safety, cabling, and security concerns for the public, vendors, aircraft, and military personnel. Coordination for safety concerns will be done through the base safety office. At this time the contractor’s equipment shall be in- place and fully operational. In addition to Friday 27 June, the technicians shall be in-place on the show date 28 and 29 June at 0750 hours. They shall be responsible for coordinating the playing of all music for all demonstration acts and provide backup to the primary announcer; to include lost and found, lost family members, weather advisories, upcoming acrobatic acts, and unforeseen emergency situations. The contractor will make connection and service into the Jet Demonstration Team (USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels) sound system so that their Preshow, show, and after show sound is broadcasted. If tie in is not possible; the contractor will provide a cordless microphone that will be used by the Jet Demonstration Team (USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels) during their portion of the show. In addition, Tinker AFB will be filming and broadcasting the airshow. This broadcast truck will be located on the flight line. The AF will require audio connections, XLR preferred. The connections will be used to provide the 2 AVS broadcast truck with a dedicated/isolated primary and backup audio connections for the narrator's feed as well as a stereo pair of the music track, mix minus the narrator’s microphone feed.

The contractor will provide a safe raised platform stage to accommodate the Air Show Boss, Narrator, Jet Demonstration Team (USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels) Audio staff, Airfield Management and FAA observers. Contractor will provide photo with dimensions of the stage.

Contractor must demonstrate they have vast experience performing at a Large Category Air Show featuring a United States Jet Demonstration Team such as the Thunderbirds and/or USN Blue Angels. The Contractor will provide three references of such experience within the past three years.
