STRATEGIC INITIATIVES / FUTURE CONCEPTS

• AD TX

• JPM CBRN Medical is seeking the development of broad-spectrum antiviral therapeutics against highly contagious emerging threats to the warfighter. Initial drug development efforts will target hemorrhagic diseases of the Arenavirus and Paramyxovirus viral families.

• HD TX

• The JPM CBRN Medical is seeking development of host-directed broad-spectrum antiviral therapeutics against emerging threats to threat the warfighter through different mechanisms of action following virus exposure.

• Vaccine Acceleration by Modular Progression (VAMP) Program

• The VAMP program delivers vaccine candidates against new and emerging CBRN threats to the warfighter by leveraging advanced developed prototype platforms through a system-of-systems approach.

• The JPM CBRN Medical Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is available for white paper submission.

• Rapid Acquisition and Investigation of Drugs for Repurposing (RAIDR) Program

• The RAIDR program develops repurposed drugs as MCMs towards known, potential, and emerging threats, bridging the gap from when a threat is identified until a targeted countermeasure becomes available. Evidence collected informs the DOD’s Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) for treatment of chemical and biological injuries.

• The JPM CBRN Medical BAA is available for white paper submission.

• OASIS contract with Battelle Memorial Institute available for nonclinical testing.

• Surveillance and Pathogen Characterization (SPCHAR) Program

• The SPCHAR program will utilize pathogenicity studies to investigate development of disease of CBRN threat agents and verify usefulness of threat disease models.

• The JPM CBRN Medical BAA is available for white paper submission.
