About this file

This document is a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for a sole-source contract with Xerox Inc. DLA Document Services seeks a 12-month base contract with two one-year option periods to maintain and supply government-owned Xerox commercial grade color printers (C60, V80, V180) located in Washington D.C., Norfolk, VA, and Pensacola, FL. The justification states that the contract is sole-sourced because the equipment has proprietary hardware, software, and supplies, and Xerox does not license other vendors to service, support, or supply their equipment. The Limited Source Justification will be posted to SAM.gov for 30 days, and the statutory authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 3572. The agency concluded that the only way to ensure uninterrupted support is to issue a sole-sourced contract directly to Xerox Inc.
