About this file

This document appears to be a Detailed Scope of Work (SOW) for three separate federal road maintenance projects on the Pisgah National Forest. The SOW outlines the required work for reconditioning a total of 15.7 miles of forest service roads, including blading and shaping the existing roadways, maintaining ditches, cleaning drainage structures, and placing 5,520 tons of aggregate surfacing. Additionally, the SOW specifies the replacement of 316 feet of culvert pipe.

The related federal contract opportunity is for the Pisgah RD Road Maintenance Project, a solicitation issued by the USDA Forest Service. The project requires the contractor to provide all equipment, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the road maintenance activities. A site visit is scheduled for April 30, 2024, and questions are due by May 3, 2024. The contract work is located within the boundaries of the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina.
