About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the procurement of two new enclosed trailers to support the USDA Forest Service's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program in the Rocky Mountain Geographic Area. The trailers are intended to safely transport, store, and support high-value UAS equipment including aircraft, batteries, ground control stations, and related gear for wildland fire operations and all-hazard incident response. Each trailer must be fully assembled and meet detailed technical specifications outlined in the attached checklist, with requirements including a compact footprint (minimum 6'x10', maximum length 10'), robust security features, shore-power capability for equipment charging, climate control with insulation and air conditioning to maintain stable temperatures for sensitive electronics and lithium-ion batteries, adequate lighting for night operations, and strong construction to support secure mounting and long-term durability. The trailers must be capable of navigating both paved and rugged off-highway terrain across interstate and remote environments.

The contractor must deliver both completed trailers to the Powder River Ranger District at 1415 Fort Street, Buffalo, Wyoming 82834 within 100 days of contract award. All delivery costs must be included in the contractor's price, with notification to the USFS required at least seven calendar days prior to arrival. The USFS will conduct inspection upon delivery to verify full compliance with all specifications, and any identified deficiencies must be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost. The contractor is responsible for providing all materials, components, documentation, manuals, warranty information, and resources necessary to complete the work. The government will furnish no equipment, materials, or facilities for this requirement. No key personnel, security requirements, data rights, or Section 508 compliance requirements are specified.
