The Rocky Mountain Region requires two (2) new off-road capable trailers designed to mobilize and store sensitive, high-value UAS equipment for wildland fire incident response and other missions. Each trailer must be a 6' wide by 10' long enclosed cargo trailer with a minimum 60 square foot floor plan, equipped with dual 3,500-pound axles with electric brakes, all-terrain 10-ply tires, and a minimum payload capacity of 2,000 pounds using a bumper-pull hitch configuration for standard government vehicles.

Interior specifications require a minimum ceiling height of 6'6" with non-skid flooring, full insulation in floors, walls, and ceilings with aluminum interior lining, and robust 16-inch on-center wall, floor, and ceiling construction for secure equipment mounting. Electrical systems must include 30-amp shore power access with four interior outlets and one exterior GFI outlet, a DC battery box with charger, an AC unit for temperature control, roof ventilation, and comprehensive LED lighting (4-6 foot interior ceiling lights, exterior work lights, rear spot lights, and interior puck lights). Access consists of a locking side door with cam bar and folding step, plus a rear ramp door with spring-assist close and cam bars for loading heavy equipment. Security features include eTrac mounted on sidewalls and floors. Delivery is required to the Powder River Ranger District, 1415 Fort Street, Buffalo, Wyoming 82834, with technical contact Dustin Kavitz at 307-285-8197.
