About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the State of Illinois for the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, IL, seeking a quarterly weekly food order for items spanning July 2025 to September 2025. The RFQ covers 17 different food and food-related items, including cheese varieties, dressings, rolls, potato products, meat, dairy, and bakery items, with estimated quantities ranging from 5 to 270 case volumes (CV). Orders will be placed with a two-week lead time, delivered weekly on Tuesdays, with the understanding that listed quantities are estimates and actual amounts will be determined by need and funding.

The RFQ allows for brand-specific or equivalent products, with the burden of proof for equivalency resting on the bidder. Pricing must include any shipping or freight costs, and bidders are required to quote on each line item to be considered responsive. The quote is to be submitted to Summer Prenger via email at summmer.prenger@illinois.gov, with no specific submission deadline mentioned in the provided document. The solicitation emphasizes flexibility in product selection, stating that "or equal" submissions will not be rejected due to minor differences that do not affect the product's intended use.
