About this file

This addendum clarifies specifications for ITB #WRS260711, a non-stock large water meter exchange project for the City of Ocala, Florida, issued through Ocala Utility Services/Resource Management. The invitation to bid, originally dated April 28, 2026, solicits sealed bids for water meter equipment to be submitted electronically through the AURSI bidding system by 2:00 P.M. on May 4, 2026, with bids to be opened electronically at that time. Prospective bidders must submit responses online at www.aursi.com and direct any questions regarding bid items to Mary Ann St. Laurent, Warehouse & Inventory Manager, at mstlaurent@ocalafl.org or (352-351-6705). No exceptions to the bid opening time will be permitted.

Addendum 1 addresses two clarification questions received from prospective bidders regarding product specifications. The spool pieces for this project are specified as flange-by-flange configuration and may be either tar coated or primer coated at the bidder's discretion. The flange adapters are to be standard regular flange adapters without grip features. These clarifications establish the exact technical requirements that bidders must meet when pricing and submitting their responses for the water meter exchange equipment.
