About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) through the Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP) for the purchase and delivery of self-propelled brooms. ITD is requesting bids from vendors for the supply of self-propelled brooms to be used on and in the right of way of Idaho State Highways and ITD yards. The ITB outlines the minimum mandatory specifications for the self-propelled brooms, which include requirements for the body, running gear, engine, transmission, electrical system, steering, hydraulic system, brush, and accessories. Bids must be submitted electronically via IPRO by the stated closing date, and award will be made by line item to the responsive responsible bidder with the lowest total cost. The delivery of the self-propelled brooms is expected within 210 days after receipt of order.
The ITB provides details on the billing procedure, warranty requirements, assembly, delivery locations and timelines, and the provision of manuals. It also specifies the requirement for the bidder to be an authorized distributor or manufacturer of the offered brooms. The contract will include a kick-off meeting, and the contractor must provide training on the operation, maintenance, and safety of the brooms within 30 days of acceptance.
