About this file

This Addendum Number Five is issued by St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, a Maryland water and wastewater utility, to modify the Invitation to Bid (ITB) 26-07-F for polymer products and services. The contract scope requires the contractor to provide polymer and all necessary service equipment and materials for conditioning anaerobically digested sludge prior to dewatering at the Marlay-Taylor Water Reclamation Facility in Lexington Park, Maryland. The polymer will be utilized in conjunction with Fournier Rotary Presses, Gravity Belt Thickening processes, and the BioMag settling process. A critical modification to Section H specifies that bidders must schedule jar tests and test trials no later than January 27, 2026, and must successfully pass all performance and testing parameters by the close of business on March 5, 2026. The addendum also notes that due to inclement weather and area closures, the original ITB due dates have been modified, though the specific revised due date is referenced in the ITB documents themselves.

Bidders are reminded that electronic submissions are not permitted and will be rejected; all bids must arrive by the specified time and date as physical packages. The St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, which has served customers since 1964, has issued this addendum through Procurement Agent Tanya Parker, CPPO, NIGP-CPP, CPPB, CMPA, to ensure clarity and compliance with the modified contract requirements.
