About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Revenue for DNA Collection and Testing Services for Paternity Establishment. The ITB is divided into two award categories: Category A for DNA testing services and Category B for DNA collection services. The awarded Contractor for Category A must be accredited by the Association of Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) and provide services in accordance with Florida Statutes. The ITB has an opening date of October 15, 2024. This Addendum revises several sections of the original ITB, including changes to references to AABB, sample retention and destruction requirements, report content, and transition of cases from the previous Contractor.
The ITB is seeking the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder(s) for each category. Qualified Contractors may bid on Category A only, Category B only, or on both categories. The Department may award separate contracts for each category to different bidders. No other pricing, set-aside, incumbent, funding, or environmental details are provided in the Addendum.
