About this file

This document is Addendum #2 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 22-172-G for Pole-Mounted Transformers issued by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) in Oregon. The addendum clarifies that for the single-phase transformers listed in Exhibit 1 with a wye primary connection (items 1-9), the bidder should quote the 12470grdy/7200 transformer with only 1 primary bushing, rather than the 2 bushings specified in the original solicitation. The closing date and time for the bid remain unchanged, but this addendum constitutes a material change requiring acknowledgment by the bidder.

The underlying contract opportunity is for EWEB to procure pole-mounted transformers, which will serve customers in the jurisdictions of Lane County and the City of Eugene, Oregon. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning a copy with their bid response.

ADDENDUM #2

Polemounted Transformers

ITB 22-172-G

This addendum provides clarification to the solicitation document(s) for work only to the extent indicated herein.

CHANGES TO ITB DOCUMENT:

Question & Answer

1. Exhibit 1 has items 1-27 listed as either delta or wye primary and both of those would indicate 2 hvb, yet the spec lists a 12470 Delta primary (2 hvb) – correct and a 12470grdy/7200 primary which is only 1 hvb. On Exhibit 1 on the items with a “wye” primary listed, do I quote the 12470grdy/7200 with only 1 hvb?

a. Yes, all single phase transformers listed in Exhibit 1 with a wye primary connection, items 1 – 9, should be provided with 1 primary bushing.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME

The closing date and time will remain unchanged.

This addendum constitutes a MATERIAL CHANGE to the bid. ITS RECEIPT BY THE BIDDER IS TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY A SIGNATURE AND RETURNING A COPY OF THE ADDENDUM WITH ITS RESPONSE OR

BY CIRCLING THE ADDENDUM NUMBER IN THE APPROPRIATE AREA ON THE BID FORM.
