About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for a pre-commercial thinning project in the Astoria District of Oregon. The project is being managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) and involves thinning of forest stands in Clatsop County and the City of Astoria. The ITB requires bidders to provide information on their company, including their Oregon Secretary of State Business Registry Number, OregonBuys Number, and Federal ID Number. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder that meets all the requirements of the ITB. The contract term is not specified in the document.
The ITB outlines several certification requirements for the bidder, including compliance with the Sample Contract in Attachment A, payment of taxes, non-discrimination in employment practices, and absence of conflicts of interest. Bidders are also required to certify that they are not included on any government exclusion lists. The ITB emphasizes the importance of truthful and accurate information in the bid, and warns that any false statements could result in legal action under the Oregon False Claims Act.
