1. There are no specifications on the Carpet. Can a minimum specification be provided?

Typically Shaw and Mohawk are used as the manufacturer. An example that we have used in the past is Shaw; Collection: View; Style 5T079 or something from the Live and Learn Collection.

Please advise.

Shaw; Collection: View; Style 5T079 (or equivalent). Color closely match the current carpet.

2. Currently, there is 4” Rubber base attached to the wood base. Please confirm that this will be removed and replaced.

The 4” rubber base must be replaced with a color that complements the wall paint.

3. Most of the current walls have wall paper that has been painted. This creates a textured look on the walls. Please confirm that when we patch the holes, they will not need to match the texture of the wall paper.

The agency understands that the patchwork may not match the textured walls.

4. There is no specification on the paint. Please advise if primer is needed and how many coats of paints. Contractor Recommendation: Prime areas that are patched only and paint all walls with 2 coats of low VOC paint (Ex. Promar200 – Sherwin Williams)

9. The auditorium has seats that are bolted down. Are we doing the carpet and/or paint in this area?

No carpet in auditorium.

10. Do you have a specification on the BR Door? Will new self-closing hardware be needed?

We do not know the specs of the door and new self-closing hardware is not in the SOW.

11. When a portion of the BR wall is removed, there will be a section of flooring missing. Also, when the partion is relocated, there will be holes from the anchor bolts. Will we need to replace these tiles? If so, is there a stock for the tile or will we need to try to match them.

Yes, the tile will need to be replaced and holes patched. USG does not have tile on hand, contractor must match tile to the best of their abilities.
