About this file
This is an Iran Business Relationship Affidavit required for the Select Exterior Metal Painting Project in Michigan. The affidavit serves as a compliance document through which bidders and contractors must certify their business relationships and activities in accordance with applicable state and federal sanctions laws regarding Iran. Contractors submitting bids for this painting project must complete and submit the affidavit as part of their proposal package to demonstrate compliance with Iran-related business restrictions and prohibitions.
The affidavit requires signatories to attest that neither they nor their business entities have engaged in prohibited transactions, investments, or business relationships with Iran or Iranian entities as defined under state and federal law. This compliance certification is a prerequisite for contract award and reflects Michigan's adherence to national sanctions policies. Failure to submit the completed affidavit or false statements within the document may result in bid rejection or contract termination.
