About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Information Systems and Network Support, Solicitation #IQS SSB202500028 by the United States Capitol Police (USCP). Key details include a mandatory pre-proposal site visit on June 11, 2025, at 8:00 am EST at the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC, with strict attendance requirements: only US citizens can attend, limited to one representative per company, and no photography is allowed. The solicitation requires a Top-Secret (TS) facility clearance at the time of offer, and the incumbent vendor is M.C. Dean under BPA# SSBB202300002.

The Q&A document provides critical guidance for potential offerors, including site visit logistics (approximately 3-hour duration, wear comfortable shoes, bring ID), clarification that this is an existing requirement with modified solicitation terms, and explicit instructions that no contract details like total award value, number of FTEs, or incumbent performance evaluations will be disclosed. Vendors must request the RFP via email to the Contract Specialist, providing a executed Non-Disclosure Agreement, company information, CAGE code, and Unique Entity ID. Vendor questions are due by June 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST, with proposal submissions due by July 31, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST.
