About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a United States Capitol Police (USCP) Request for Proposal (RFP) for Information Systems and Network Support, Solicitation #IQS SSB202500028. The Q&A provides critical details about the solicitation, including a mandatory site visit on June 11, 2025, at the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC, with specific attendance requirements: only one US citizen per company may attend, and no pictures are allowed during the walkthrough. Key technical and procedural requirements include a Top-Secret and/or SECRET Facility clearance requirement at the time of offer, confirmation that this is an existing requirement with modified solicitation terms, and instructions that all questions must be submitted in writing per RFP Section L.4.
The document reveals limited information about the contract, with the government deliberately withholding details such as the current contract's total award value, number of full-time employees, and incumbent performance evaluations. The incumbent vendor is identified as M.C. Dean with BPA# SSBB202300002. Site visit logistics include a approximately 3-hour duration, a requirement to wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a valid form of ID. The government emphasizes that no questions will be answered during the site visit, and any statements made are not official until a formal RFP amendment is issued.
