Invitation - USAID ESC Basic Education Industry Day - English.pdf

This document is an Invitation to a Mission Industry Day event hosted by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean region. USAID is designing a new education activity focused on improving soft skills development and employment outcomes for youth aged 15-24 who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET). The event is an opportunity for local service providers, academic institutions, private sector partners, and civil society organizations that provide youth training and employment services to learn more about the upcoming contract opportunity. The proposed activity will use a pay-for-results approach where USAID will only pay for realized training and employment results. The initial target countries are Suriname and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with potential expansion to the broader eastern Caribbean region subject to funding availability. Interested parties are invited to attend the hybrid (in-person and virtual) Industry Day event to receive additional details about the planned solicitation.
