About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid form submitted to the State of Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for a one-time purchase of five street sweepers. The solicitation, identified as FY27 Street Sweeper Purchase D1, D4, D8/26-494DOT-FINAD-B-52154, represents a re-publication of a previous solicitation (B-52154) for award purposes and is not an open solicitation for new vendor submissions. The document serves as the formal bid submission form requiring bidders to acknowledge compliance with all solicitation requirements, including completion of required documents as specified in Section A.1, with failure to meet requirements resulting in disqualification.
The form provides bidders the opportunity to claim applicable preferences under the Illinois Procurement Code, including Illinois Business Preference and Domestic Product Preference, with instructions for proper documentation and claim procedures. Bidders may also submit exceptions to standard terms and conditions through a redlined version of the State's Standard Terms and Conditions document, subject to State acceptance or rejection. The document indicates that standard terms and conditions applicable to any resulting contract are available through the Illinois Central Procurement Office website, and bidders must sign and submit the completed form as their formal offer to the State of Illinois.
