About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document submitted to the State of Illinois for the procurement of walk-in refrigeration equipment replacement services under solicitation number B-51953. The document serves as the formal offer submission form for vendors responding to the State's procurement opportunity. The solicitation pertains to the Department of Corrections and specifically addresses the replacement of walk-in refrigeration equipment. The IFB form requires bidders to declare their eligibility status, confirm compliance with all solicitation requirements, and identify any exceptions to the standard terms and conditions that will govern the resulting contract.

The document emphasizes that bidders must complete all required documents as outlined in solicitation section A.1 to avoid disqualification. The State of Illinois provides various procurement preferences under the Illinois Procurement Code, and vendors may claim preferences such as the Illinois Business Preference or Domestic Product Preference if applicable, with supporting documentation required. Any bidder taking exception to the standard terms and conditions must submit a redlined version of those terms for State review and approval. The Standard Terms and Conditions referenced in the solicitation are available through the Illinois CPO General website. Upon submission and acceptance by the State, the completed bid form constitutes a binding offer to perform all work in full compliance with the solicitation requirements.
