About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid submission form for the State of Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for a FY27 Wood Posts procurement (Solicitation Number 27-494DOT-FINAD-B-52978). The solicitation seeks wood posts for IDOT Districts 1-9. The document serves as the formal bid submission vehicle through which vendors present their offers to the State of Illinois. Bidders must complete all required documentation as specified in solicitation section A.1 and submit their responses in compliance with the stated requirements. Failure to meet all specified requirements will result in disqualification.
This procurement is designated as a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA), restricting participation to qualified small businesses. Bidders may claim applicable preferences under the Illinois Procurement Code, including Illinois Business Preference (requiring completion of a provided affidavit) and Domestic Product Preference (requiring notation in the Alternate Description field for qualifying line items). Any bidder taking exception to the standard terms and conditions must submit a redlined version with their offer, though the State reserves the right to accept or reject proposed exceptions. The State's standard terms and conditions for this contract are available on the CPO General website and will be incorporated into any resulting contract award.
