About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document for the State of Illinois, specifically issued by Centralia Correctional Center for the procurement of various textile materials. The solicitation seeks multiple fabric types including white broadcloth, black ripstop, white poplin, emerald green denier nylon, Dacron batting, cotton duck, polyester mesh, and vinyl ticking. These materials will be used to manufacture clothing, blankets, and shower curtains for individuals in custody throughout the state, as well as mail bags for correctional facilities and uniforms for officers. The IFB outlines the specific requirements and quantities needed for each textile material to support the operational needs of the Illinois correctional system.
The document establishes the bidding parameters and terms for vendors interested in supplying these textile materials to the State of Illinois. Bidders are expected to submit proposals that comply with the detailed specifications and requirements outlined in the IFB, which includes pricing structures, delivery schedules, and quality standards for all materials. The procurement process follows Illinois state purchasing procedures and competitive bidding requirements to ensure fair competition and optimal value for the state.
