About this file

This document is an Attachment E - Price Proposal Form related to a state and local contract opportunity in Oregon involving Marion County and the City of Salem. The contract is for the replacement of the engine and overhaul of the propeller on a 2006 Cessna (N17386) aircraft with a Lycoming TIO-540-AJ1A engine. The pricing form requests proposers to provide a price per unit for the following: 1) removing the existing engine and replacing it with a factory rebuilt engine, 2) replacing accessories including turbo, exhaust, engine mounts, magnetos, hoses, starter, alternator, and vacuum pump, 3) re-certifying GAMI-jectors and overhauling the propeller and governor, and 4) any other expected costs. All pricing must be held firm for 30 days.

The pricing form indicates that cost is a consideration in the evaluation, but the award will not necessarily go to the lowest cost proposer. Rather, the award will go to the proposer whose proposal best meets the requirements of the RFP. Proposers are required to incorporate all costs associated with providing the services into their price proposal.
