About this file
This is a reference check document associated with an Oregon state Request for Proposals (RFP) for retrospective analysis of Oregon's Greater Sage-Grouse (GRSG) Mitigation Program. The document outlines the reference check process that will be conducted on qualified bidders to evaluate their experience, qualifications, and past performance in similar work. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified consultants or firms to review existing state GRSG mitigation programs and provide recommendations for structuring and improving future programming efforts. The reference check component is designed to verify bidder capabilities, track records, and suitability for executing the project scope before contract award.
The reference check process requires bidders to provide references from previous clients or projects demonstrating relevant experience with sage-grouse conservation programs, wildlife mitigation strategies, or similar environmental program analysis and recommendations. The evaluation of references will assess the bidder's ability to deliver quality work, meet deadlines, manage projects effectively, and work collaboratively with state agencies. This verification process is a standard component of the procurement evaluation and helps ensure that the selected contractor possesses the necessary expertise and reliability to successfully complete the retrospective analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improving Oregon's GRSG mitigation initiatives.
