About this file

The document is a Certificate of Insurance Requirements for Standard City Contracts issued by the City of West Sacramento, detailing mandatory insurance specifications for vendors and contractors seeking to do business with the city. The form outlines comprehensive insurance coverage requirements, including Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence), Commercial Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 per accident), Workers' Compensation (per statutory requirements), and Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) of $1,000,000 per claim when applicable.

The insurance requirements mandate that all policies, except Workers' Compensation and Professional Liability, must name the City of West Sacramento as an additional insured, with a required Additional Insured Endorsement equivalent to CG 2010 0714. Vendors must provide certificates that include primary and non-contributory endorsements, separation of insureds clauses, and a 30-day written notice requirement for any cancellation or material changes to the insurance policies. The document also requires a Waiver of Subrogation Endorsement for Workers' Compensation and provides flexibility for self-employed contractors with no employees.
