The bid must include installation of all cabling, programming, mounting hardware, adapters, full Revolution endpoint licenses, a 3-year parts warranty, and disposal of old analog equipment. Installation is preferred during the building's holiday break, with spring break as an alternative option. Vendors must remain firm on their bid price for at least ninety days from the submission deadline.

Bids must exclude state and federal taxes as Ingham ISD is a tax-exempt governmental unit, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All pertinent expenses necessary for proper execution of the contract, including any necessary night time or weekend work, must be included in the submitted bid price with no additional compensation permitted beyond the bid amount unless agreed to in writing by Ingham ISD. The vendor is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with implementing ITB requirements. Prevailing wage requirements under Michigan's Public Act 10 of 2023 apply, mandating that all contractors and subcontractors pay workers at rates established by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity with certified payroll records submitted upon request. Project Timelines The project can begin following the award notification. Ingham ISD’s preferred installation is during Wilson Talent Center’s Holiday Break. If installation cannot be done during Holiday Break, Spring Break may be considered as an alternative. Vendors must indicate in their bid which installation timeline they are able to accommodate.

Scope of Work

1. Provide, install, configure, and commission a complete, “turnkey” Atlas IED IPX Series based PA (Public

Address) and clock system replacing the building’s existing analog system. It must be compatible with and capable of integration with Ingham ISD’s existing Atlas IED PA infrastructure that exists elsewhere in the district.

2. The proposed system must provide seamless interoperability with the District's existing PA system in other buildings on campus, including centralized administration, paging, emergency notification, and other existing system functionality.

3. Bid must include full installation of new equipment and disposal of old analog equipment.

4. Must include a 3-year parts warranty.

5. Installation shall include all cabling, programming, mounting hardware, adapters, and modifications necessary to install the equipment.

6. Include all Revolution endpoint licenses required for the proposed system.

7. Project includes:

• Forty-two (42) new single sided, wall-mounted digital PA endpoints in classrooms, replacing existing analog clocks at these locations.

• Six (6) double sided wall-mount units in hallways

• Eight (8) outdoor rated horns on outsides of building

• Three (3) ceiling tile mounted speakers for PA announcements, without clock displays.

• Of the forty-two (42) classroom PA endpoints, only three (3) require visual notification capability: one each in the Welding Lab, Machining Lab, and Auto Tech Lab classrooms. These three endpoints shall provide a visible indication of PA announcements and emergency notifications.

Vendors shall verify field conditions and installation requirements during the mandatory walkthrough, including equipment locations, mounting conditions, cable routes, and network requirements. Building maps will be available at the walkthrough.

The accepted cable colors for this project are as follows: Blue for Network connections (PC/Phone), Yellow for Access Points, Green for Cameras, Orange for IoT devices, and Black for PA Speakers/Clocks. It is crucial that the contractor follows these specified color codes and meticulously labels both the patch panel and the classroom end of each Ethernet cable accordingly. Additionally, thorough testing of each Ethernet cable connection is required to ensure optimal performance and reliability throughout the network infrastructure.

This comprehensive approach to labeling and testing guarantees efficient identification, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation of the system.
