About this file
This document is an Amendment 01 to a federal contract (ILNDCLERK25-DCCI) for a fiber and cable installation project for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, U.S. District Court, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The amendment includes statement of work clarifications for multiple cable installation scopes, specifically detailing the installation of fiber optic and CAT 6A cables between various server rooms and intermediate distribution frames (IDFs) across different floors, including Server Room 771, IDF 1651A, IDF T-26NE, and Room 2661.
The amendment also includes responses to 24 contractor questions addressing site visit requirements, electrical work, project funding, incumbent status, cable routing, wall materials, conduit needs, and documentation requirements. The period of performance is set at 75 calendar days from the Courts' acceptance of the contractor's proposed milestone schedule, with the contractor responsible for completing the project, correcting punch list items, and submitting final invoicing with a release of claims waiver. The project involves installing multimode fiber optic cables (6 and 12 strand OM4) and a shielded CAT 6A cable, with specific termination and testing requirements for each cable run.
