About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Indian Health Service Solicitation IHS1524499 regarding Reverse Osmosis Equipment Preventive Maintenance and Service. The Q&A clarifies contract requirements for maintaining a Getinge MRG 2400 system with quarterly preventive maintenance frequency throughout each contract year. The contractor must provide full-service coverage to return equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, including replacement of RO membranes, filters, pumps, sensors, electronic controls, and other consumable or repair components. Emergency service calls and after-hours support are not required under the Statement of Work.
The Q&A confirms that all pricing should be all-inclusive of labor, travel costs, and materials with no separate line item identification permitted. OEM-authorized subcontractors are acceptable to satisfy manufacturer authorization requirements, and the solicitation does not impose subcontracting limitations. The document notes that an incumbent contractor currently services this system under contract number 75H71221F80147, though the incumbent's effort included additional functions not required in this solicitation. The Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service is the contracting agency for this opportunity.
