RFQ IHS1512705 - Ak-Chin Community Health Clinic Hazardous Waste Collection Services
Questions and Answers:
1. I see that the service calls for 2 containers per week over the course of a year, which would total 104 containers (2 x 52 weeks). However, the bid references a total of 250 containers. I just want to ensure I’m not overlooking something—could you please confirm the correct quantity?
The correct quantity for the containers will be 2 containers per week, over 52 weeks per year, totaling 104 containers and not the 250 originally requested. The Fee Scheduled has been updated.
2. Additionally, there’s mention of sharps containers needing to be provided, but the number required isn’t specified. Could you please provide that number as well?
In regards to the sharp containers, there are 5 exam rooms as well as a nurses station and medical room, so about 7 total – 1 per room requiring a sharps box.
