1. Sheet E0.2 shows existing Switchgear 7 Enclosure (used now as pullbox) feeding the existing 3000KVA transformer primary. Sheet E1.1 keyed note 4 says to disconnect Feeder from Switch gear 6 feeding the 3000KVA transformer, while keyed note 3 says Switchgear 7 provides primary (15KV) power to the “Tennessee Unit”.
What feeder goes through Switch 6 and what feeder goes through Switch 7, and how are they to be reconfigured with the new work?

2. We understand that the prison wants to experience minimal outage time during this project for the electrical feed in question. We would like to know what is the maximum amount of down time that is allowable at any given time for this project?
CLARIFICATION: The maximum allowable downtime is 12 hours. Please refer to General Note 2 on temporary power plan on sheet E1.2.
3. Will the prison accept an alternate proposal with an alternate solution in addition to the proposal for the work specified for consideration that may reduce outage time and cost?
CLARIFICATION: The updated specifications and drawings were completed by an AE firm who after conducting a site visit and analysis determined and the Government agreed, what in the best interest of the Government. An alternate proposal will not be accepted.
