About this file
The document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Number IFB93124708002 issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) for pest control services at the South Central Correctional Center (SCCC) in Licking, Missouri. The solicitation seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive pest control services, including bi-monthly treatments (24 visits per year), quarterly treatments (4 visits per year), and as-needed services (estimated 12 visits per year). The bid submission period runs from July 13, 2023, to August 10, 2023, with bids due by 2:00 PM CDT. Non-mandatory site tours are available by appointment with the SCCC Business Manager, requiring at least four days' advance notice. Vendors can submit bids electronically through the MissouriBUYS system or as sealed hard-copy submissions to the DOC Purchasing Section in Jefferson City. The initial contract term will be from the award date through June 30, 2024, with two optional one-year renewal periods available.
The pricing structure requires vendors to provide unit pricing for different service types, with maximum percentage increases of 1% allowed for each of the two potential renewal periods. Pricing increases will be calculated against the original contract price rather than using cumulative calculations. The DOC will fund the contract through its budget, with payment terms of Net 45 days. Invoices can be submitted electronically or by mail to the DOC Accounts Payable office. The contract follows Free on Board Destination delivery terms, with services to be provided at the SCCC facility located at 255 West Highway 32, Licking, Missouri. The solicitation is open to all qualified vendors, with no specific set-aside designations or incumbent contractor identified. While the total estimated contract value is not disclosed, the procurement aims to establish a comprehensive pest control service agreement for the correctional center.
