About this file

This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment to a federal solicitation (Amendment 0002) issued by the USCG Civil Engineering Unit Providence for a waterfront project. The amendment provides clarifications and answers to two specific contractor questions: (1) permission to bring boats and floating platforms into the boat basin, and (2) access to fresh water and electricity in the laydown area.

Key details include: Contractors are permitted to use boats and work platforms in the boat basin subject to strict operational restrictions, including not obstructing Station New York operations, identifying platforms in pre-construction submittals, and removing them during "no work" periods. Water access is available through a nearby fire hydrant with specific connection requirements, and electricity is accessible at a light pole in the contractor staging area. The amendment requires all utility connections and electrical work to be code-compliant and approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
