About this file
This is a Site Location and Map exhibit for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) 26-0173 issued by the City of Orlando, Florida, for grounds maintenance services at the Iron Bridge Water Reclamation Facility. The project requires comprehensive grounds maintenance across approximately 100 acres located at 601 Iron Bridge Circle, Oviedo, Florida, encompassing mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal, plant bed maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, and irrigation system maintenance across five designated areas. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision, with work performed Monday through Friday, excluding City holidays, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. The scope includes approximately 40 mowing cycles annually and 12 monthly irrigation maintenance visits. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for March 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Iron Bridge Facility, with a question deadline of March 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. and electronic bid submissions due by April 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., followed by virtual bid opening via Microsoft Teams. The resulting contract will have an initial three-year term with two optional twelve-month renewal periods, for a cumulative total of 60 months.
Contractors must submit references, notarized certifications, insurance documentation with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence for comprehensive general liability, equipment lists, and personnel lists. The City of Orlando applies a Living Wage requirement of $15.00 per hour for covered services when City expenditures exceed $100,000 annually. Respondents must certify they are not on scrutinized company lists related to boycotts of Israel or business operations in restricted countries and must acknowledge all addenda and submit Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Forms. Pricing must be submitted electronically through the City's e-Procurement Portal with unit prices prevailing in case of discrepancies. The contractor is responsible for all equipment maintenance through either contracted maintenance agreements or an in-house maintenance program, with documentation available for City review, and is liable for all damage repair and equipment replacement resulting from operations at no cost to the City. No on-site equipment storage is available, and no incumbent vendor information is listed in available procurement documents.
