About this file

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation package is issued by the Maryland Physician Care and Telemedicine Commission (MPCTC) to procure a turnkey audio/visual upgrade and integration for the MPCTC Commission Conference Room. The project encompasses the complete design, procurement, installation, and integration of a modern audio/visual system suitable for conference room operations, including components such as displays, audio equipment, video conferencing capabilities, control systems, and associated infrastructure. The solicitation requires bidders to provide comprehensive system design documentation, equipment specifications, installation timelines, and warranty information. Interested bidders are encouraged to schedule site visits to evaluate the conference room space and existing conditions. A bidders' conference may be held to address questions and clarify requirements. Sealed bids must be submitted by the specified due date, with award anticipated following bid evaluation and approval by the MPCTC Commission.

The solicitation is structured as a competitive sealed bid process with pricing and technical components evaluated according to stated criteria in the IFB. Bidders must submit detailed pricing for all equipment, labor, installation, testing, and project management associated with the turnkey system. The contract will include performance guarantees, system warranties, and ongoing maintenance support terms to be negotiated as part of the award process. No specific set-asides, incumbent contractor information, or renewal options are detailed in the package summary. Funding for this project is provided through MPCTC resources, with the total project budget to be determined through the competitive bid evaluation process.
