IFB Offer Summary for Illinois IDOT Harvey Demo Building D1037
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) document, identified as B-53972, is submitted to the State of Illinois for demolition services at the Harvey Maintenance Yard in IDOT District 1. The project involves the demolition of a salt dome building (Structure D1037) at the specified location. The solicitation is restricted to Small Business Set Aside Program vendors only, limiting competition to qualified small businesses. Specific details regarding project scope, including the size and complexity of the demolition work, site conditions, environmental considerations, and any hazardous materials handling requirements, are outlined in the associated project documentation. The IFB establishes bidding procedures, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms and conditions governing the procurement process and the performance of demolition services.
The procurement is structured as a small business set-aside, restricting bidding eligibility to certified small business enterprises. Pricing and payment terms, insurance and bonding requirements, safety compliance obligations, and any performance schedules are established within the bid documents. Additional information regarding funding sources, budget allocations, and the administrative agency overseeing the procurement through IDOT would be contained in supporting documentation. Contractors are expected to demonstrate capability in demolition operations, environmental compliance, and adherence to Illinois state procurement standards and specifications for this specialized facility demolition project.
