About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) offer submission form to the State of Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for a rebid solicitation concerning batteries for continuous count traffic monitoring sites. The solicitation number is 26-494DOT-FINAD-B-51913, and this is a Brand Name Only procurement, indicating that bidders must supply batteries meeting specific brand specifications for IDOT's traffic counting equipment. The document serves as the formal bid submission vehicle through which vendors declare their intent to perform in full compliance with the subject solicitation requirements.

The IFB form requires bidders to declare any claims for Illinois-based business preferences, including the Illinois Business Preference and Domestic Product Preference, with vendors claiming such preferences required to submit supporting documentation such as affidavits or product origin designations. Bidders may also submit redline exceptions to the State's Standard Terms and Conditions, though the State retains the right to accept or reject any proposed modifications. The form indicates that completion of all required documents as specified in solicitation section A.1 is mandatory, with failure to meet requirements resulting in bid disqualification. All resulting contracts will incorporate the State's Standard Terms and Conditions, which are available through the Illinois Chief Procurement Office website.
