Q&A Addendum

Commodity: 46191500 Fire Prevention

Date: October 3, 2025

The following answers are to the questions received on or before September 26, 2025.

A signed copy of this addendum is not required to be returned with your bid package.

1. Q. What is the eVP#? Is this the Federal ID#?

A. The eVP# is your company’s electronic vendor portal number. For you to be able to submit a bid and have a contract awarded to you, your company must be a North Carolina registered vendor in good standing. You must enter the vendor number assigned through eVP. If you don’t have a vendor number, register at https://evp.nc.gov/.

2. Q. How do I handle obsolete parts?

A. The PDF was made a fillable form. Please print Attachment A in order for you to write on the applicable line items which parts are obsolete and their replacement info, if one exists. You’ll need to scan the marked up Attachment A and upload with your bid in eVP.

3. Q. Do we have to be at the Teams meeting at 3:00 PM or can we just submit the bid at 2:00 PM?

A. No, you do not have to attend the virtual bid opening at 3:00 PM EST. All responsible bids will be posted in eVP within the solicitation under Tabulations.

Note that your bid should be submitted before 2:00 PM EST. The eVP portal closes at exactly 2:00

PM ET.
