About this file
This is a pricing submittal sheet for an Invitations for Bid (IFB 8300 SDS1001) issued by the City of Austin for hydrostatic cylinder testing services. The solicitation covers the testing of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) cylinders in four categories: 30-minute cylinders (estimated annual quantity of 2 units), 45-minute cylinders (500 units), 60-minute cylinders (25 units), and 15-minute cylinders (5 units). The pricing sheet serves as the mandatory vehicle for all price submissions, and offerors are required to complete the form without alterations. All estimated quantities are for reference only and do not guarantee actual purchase volumes; the City reserves the right to procure more or less than stated amounts on an as-needed basis. The contract will also include provisions for vendor catalog discounts on related items, with offerors required to provide a minimum discount percentage from Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price that applies to all catalog items offered.
All pricing must be inclusive of labor, tools, equipment, travel, administrative costs, overhead, and transportation to the Austin, Texas area, with no separate charges permitted for these items. Offerors must specify their best delivery timeframe in calendar days following order receipt and confirm that delivery will be FOB destination, prepaid. The City reserves discretion to award a single contract to the lowest-cost bidder or make multiple awards based on individual line items, categories, or other criteria deemed advantageous. Unit prices will be used to resolve any discrepancies with extended prices, and all mathematical calculations on submitted bids will be verified for accuracy. Offerors must complete all required fields on the pricing sheet with actual pricing; blank entries or zero bids may be interpreted as non-responsive and could result in bid disqualification, except where a zero bid indicates a no-charge item.
