About this file
This is a Small Business Preference submittal form for the City of Austin, Texas, designed to encourage small business participation in municipal solicitations. The form allows offerors meeting specified criteria to voluntarily declare their small business status and submit certification documentation as part of their proposal response. There are no mandatory requirements to complete this form or participate in the Small Business Program in order to submit an offer to the City solicitation.
The City of Austin recognizes certifications from entities that comply with the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Size Standards. Offerors must provide their recognized certification details, including the certifying entity name, certification acronym, certification number, and expiration date. The City reserves the right to request additional information and contact the certifying entity to verify the offeror's certification status and small business designation.
