About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) 444 issued by the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority for the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center Sediment Basin Rehabilitation project located in Albemarle County, Virginia. The addendum modifies the original bid documents and specifications for the sediment basin rehabilitation work on the north side of the ISWRC property. The project requires installation of a new concrete riser and barrel structure, re-establishment of grades on outlet and inlet channels, re-establishment of grades on the sediment basin, and completion of additional work as detailed in the construction drawings and specifications. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the original IFB and as amended by this addendum.
The addendum serves to clarify, modify, or supplement the original bid requirements, specifications, or contract terms. All prospective bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum 1 with their bid submissions. The specific modifications, clarifications, or additional information contained within this addendum supersede conflicting provisions in the original IFB documents. Contractors must carefully review all addendum provisions and incorporate them into their bid proposals to ensure compliance with the updated requirements for the sediment basin rehabilitation project.
