For contracts exceeding $500,000, a Standard Bid Bond of 5% of total bid amount and Standard Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required. The award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a lump sum basis. Questions are due to the engineer (rmahon@scsengineers.com) with copies to the owner (dwhite@rivanna.org) no later than June 18, 2026.
