About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for a Medical Staffing Agreement for Public Health Response. The contractor will provide medical and support personnel to CDPH, local health departments, and other stakeholders for public health response efforts and planned health events across California. The services requested include various medical staff classifications such as nurses, medical officers, EMTs, and support staff. The bid is for a unit-based/time and materials-based contract with an estimated value not to exceed $10,000,000.00.

The pricing structure includes hourly rates for non-emergency and emergency call scenarios, as well as percentage markups on rented/purchased equipment and supplies. Bidders must submit a completed cost worksheet as part of their bid. CDPH will evaluate and award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The resulting agreement will be for an unspecified term, with the contractor reimbursed for actual services performed and invoiced.
