About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to Invitation for Bid (IFB) 24-10092 issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the Environmental Management Branch (EMB) Nuclear Emergency Response Program (NERP) Instrument Calibration. The IFB is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide tools for the detection of radiation. Addendum #1 has been posted as of 6/5/2024 which addresses a question regarding the requirement for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation, noting that it may be difficult to find DVBE subcontractors with the required California State radioactive materials license.

The IFB requires bidders to have the appropriate state licensing to handle radioactive materials. Pricing terms, funding sources, and other salient commercial details are not provided in this document. The contract term and any renewal options are also not specified.
