About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Environmental Management Branch (EMB) for the Nuclear Emergency Response Program (NERP) Instrument Calibration. The IFB requests bids from qualified contractors to provide calibration services for various radiation detection instruments, including scales/ratemeters, Geiger-Mueller detectors, gamma microR meters, ion chamber meters, pressurized ion chamber meters, dual channel counters, and multichannel analyzers. The IFB provides estimated annual quantities for each instrument type over a three-fiscal-year contract term. Bidders must submit pricing for the calibration services on an annual basis, with the grand total for all three fiscal years. The IFB requires the bidder to certify that the quoted prices are inclusive of all costs associated with providing the calibration services.

The pricing structure includes the calibration cost per unit and the extended cost for the estimated annual quantity for each instrument type. Bidders must acknowledge and agree to comply with all requirements and terms and conditions cited in the IFB and any attachments. The IFB indicates that the bid response will become a public document and will be open to public inspection.
