About this file
This document is an Addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) #20484 issued by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) for Warehouse Disposal Service. The IFB seeks to acquire trash services for the disposal of unused but expired medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) located in three warehouses throughout New York State. The scope of work includes three unique lots, and the IFB provides details on the schedule, including a bid due date of March 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM and an anticipated contract start date upon approval by the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC). The IFB does not allow for site visits, and the pickup of materials will be scheduled in advance. The addendum addresses questions submitted by vendors prior to the March 6 deadline, providing clarification on the scope of work, disposal methods, and other logistical details.
The IFB does not include a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside, and there are no Minority Owned, Women Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, or Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goals. The contract term is from OSC approval to November 1, 2025, and the service locations are in Dutchess, Montgomery, and Ontario Counties.
